Print-and-pack checklist

One evening of cutting stages all four stations.

  • Print the caller deck, action hearts, compliment prompts, and jar sheet on card stock
  • Cut the 24 calls and drop them in a cup with a pencil for strike-offs
  • Fold the ten action hearts into a bowl set next to the speaker
  • Fill three jars with red-wrapped candies and count each jar before sealing the lid
  • Write your three secret counts on the host key line of the jar sheet

Guess-how-many-hugs sheet

One slip per kid per jar; count lines keep guesses inside range.

  • Jar 1, mini jar: guess line runs 1 to 40, host key 24 hugs
  • Jar 2, tall jar: guess line runs 1 to 80, host key 57 hugs
  • Jar 3, wide bowl: guess line runs 1 to 150, host key 112 hugs
  • Each slip needs a name line and one number, no ranges accepted
  • Closest without going over wins the jar; exact ties split the candies
  • Reveal by counting the hugs out loud in tens so the answer takes one minute

Party running order sheet

Pin this sheet to the wall and hand a copy to every volunteer.

  • 0-5 minutes: arrivals sketch nine bingo calls onto a blank 3x3 grid
  • 5-15 minutes: musical hearts on the open floor, ten rounds maximum
  • 15-22 minutes: the caller runs two bingo rounds at the big table
  • 15-25 minutes: the compliment station takes pairs while bingo runs
  • 25-30 minutes: hug-count reveal with tens-counting and jar prizes
  • Closing: every kid reads their favorite compliment prompt aloud once

Notes

Valentine party games to print earn their keep in the classroom slot between the card exchange and the treat table. This four-game pack runs on a single print run: a 24-call bingo deck, ten musical-hearts action prompts, eight compliment cards, and a three-jar estimation sheet. The running order below moves 24 kids through every station in 30 minutes.

Sketch-Your-Own Valentine Bingo

Skip the boards. Post the 24 calls on the whiteboard or leave the caller deck face up, and each kid sketches the nine they can draw onto a blank 3x3 grid — five minutes of quiet drawing counts as an arrival activity. The caller strikes each drawn card and reads it twice; three in a row wins the round. Run two rounds, then hand the cup to the winners and let them call round three while volunteers reset the floor.

Musical Hearts With Action Prompts

Lay the ten action hearts face down in a floor circle, one per player. Play music while the room dances; when it stops, each kid flips the nearest heart and acts the prompt until the music restarts. There is no elimination and no chair scramble — the best actors become judges for the next round, which keeps every kid in the game to the last song. Ten rounds fill about seven minutes.

The Kind-Words Compliment Station

Set two chairs face to face and deal one prompt card face down to each kid in the pair. They take turns answering, swap cards, and draw the next. Eight prompts hold a pair for the full seven-minute rotation, and the exact wording on each card gives shy kids a script instead of a blank stare. Add a sticker to the back of each finished card so completed turns get noticed from across the room.

Guess How Many Hugs

Fill three jars — mini, tall, and wide — with red-wrapped candies and count each jar before the party. Kids drop one guess slip per jar from the sheet ranges. Closest without going over wins the jar, and exact ties split the candies down the middle. Reveal by counting the contents out loud in tens, which turns the answer into a 60-second math moment the whole room can follow.

Printed Valentine Game Questions

What valentine party games to print work for a whole class?

This four-game pack covers 24 to 28 kids: sketch-your-own bingo at the big table, musical hearts on the floor, a compliment station for pairs, and a hug-count jar by the door.

How many volunteers does the pack need?

Two cover it: one caller for bingo and one floater for the jars and compliment table. Round-three winners can take over the calling.

What if musical hearts gets too wild?

Cut the music bursts to 20 seconds and switch every heart to a slow-motion action for the last three rounds.

How do you run the compliment station without awkward pauses?

Deal one prompt face down per pair and have them swap cards after each turn. Eight prompts keep a pair talking for the full seven-minute rotation.

Can the pack run at home with fewer kids?

Skip the rotation: play bingo after snack, run musical hearts before coat time, and leave the jars out all afternoon with one guess per kid.
